Guide: How to Create Your Account on Skill-Wanderer (if you don't want to watch the video)

Welcome! This guide provides written instructions for registering on our non-profit learning platform. For a visual walkthrough, please refer to the tutorial video on the main course page.

Step 1: Go to the Login Page

• Navigate to the platform homepage at https://dojo.skill-wanderer.com.

• In the top-right corner of the screen, click the "Log in" button.

Step 2: Understanding Your Access Options

On the login screen, you will see an option to "Access as a guest." While you can view all our non-profit course materials as a guest, please be aware of the limitations:

• You cannot track your course progress.

• You cannot submit assignments.

• You cannot earn a certificate upon completion.

For the full experience, we strongly recommend creating an account. To do this, click the main "Login or Register" button.

Step 3: Choose Your Registration Method

You have two options for creating a new account:

• Option A: Register with Google (Recommended)

  • This is the fastest and simplest method. Click the "Google" button and follow the prompts to link your existing Google account.

• Option B: Register with Email

  • At the bottom of the sign-in form, click the "Register" link next to the text "New user?".

Step 4: Fill in Your Details (For Email Registration)

If you chose to register with email, a form will appear. Please fill in all fields:

• Username: Create a unique username for your account.

• Password: Create a secure password.

• Email: Enter a valid email address that you can access.

• First Name & Last Name: This is very important. Please enter your real, correctly-spelled first and last name. This is the exact name that will be printed on your course certificates. An incorrect name here will result in an incorrect certificate.

Step 5: Verify Your Email Address

After submitting your registration, the system will send an automated email to the address you provided.

• Check your email inbox for a message from "Skill-Wanderer Admin."

• Click the verification link inside that email. This will activate your account and log you in for the first time.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

What should I do if I don't receive the verification email?

1. First, please wait a few minutes and check your Spam or Junk folder.

2. If you still can't find it:

   • If you registered with Google: Return to the login page and click the "Google" button again. This will resend the verification email.

   • If you registered with Email: Return to the login page and try to sign in with the username and password you just created. The system will detect that your account is not yet active and will prompt you to resend the verification email.
